Hôtel le A : the ABCs of life in Paris

The famous Parisian architect, Frédéric Méchiche, designed and built the A to be a work of art. Over and above its visual expression of trendy, high-tech design and serene, immaculately white walls, the entire hotel vibrates to the rhythm of modern art.

And that is no surprise: artist Fabrice Hybert, who was honoured at the Venetian Biennial, also worked on its design. But, his contribution was not limited to interior decorating, it was used to transform the entire hotel into a work of art. The end result is a luxuriously simple and intimate hotel that makes guests feel they are visiting the apartment of a friend full of his paintings. The lift has been transformed into a luminous space.
His works can be found in its white or aquatically-inspired celadon rooms. The hotel library includes 400 art books and the lounge bar, which is open to guests and passing Parisians, extends along a wall of surprising, modern ceramics. The “A” has created a new Parisian alphabet in which totally relaxing simplicity, modern art and
city life are combined to please its chic and cosmopolitan clientele.
The works of Fabrice Hybert,  express his unique philosophical goal of creating a hotel that is truly a work of art.
