It’s probably the most beautiful table within the walls of the capital and is located within a little island of greenery. Here, the setting of this hunting lodge is of an absolutely impressive elegance, but obviously, not overwhelming. The terrace is truly magnificent and it is recommended to reserve several days in advance. Once you are seated, one doesn’t know if time seems to fly or to stand still, lending itself to savoring bite by bite…How can it be otherwise when you find yourself at the heart of a garden of Eden…in the Marigny Square of Paris. The service is of utmost attentiveness, without being too present: true grand class under the direction of the very cultivated Philippe Bourguignon, who plays to the same tune as the ever talented chef Alain Pégouret. Here, one does not speak about nouvelle cuisine or new concepts: all the flavors are found in the authenticity and the freshness of the ingredients, cooked to perfection. You will discover that evidently, great French cuisine, with a touch of modernity, remains the best choice given to you. The menu is generous, as are the dishes…as well as the salad of rare tiny beans seasoned with fresh tomato and purple basil (40 €). The fish : golden sautéed slice of turbot, glossed eggplant, caraway seed béarnaise sauce (85 €). For the meat dishes: caramelized loin of Pyrenees baby lamb, broad beans, morilles and asparagus tips in chervil butter, (80€). The desserts are of such tasty delights as the fresh mint and Sechuan pepper soufflé (28 €). All good things come with a price ( if not a value ). Count on 150 €.
