Stella Cadente making women beautiful
Four years ago, the designer Stranislassia Klein, alias Stella Cadente (“shooting star” in Italian), opened her first concept store on the Quai de Valmy along the canal Saint Martin. Today, it is in the marais, across from the Notre Dame, where she is opening her newest boutique with a “home sweet home” air.
The boutique’s ambiance is one of warmth and tranquillity giving off a very homey feeling. Mauve walls, large white curtains, welcoming couches and armchairs to relax into, there is everything you could need to relax. There is a cozy little area “le café entre copines” (“coffee between girlfriends”), where you are offered coffee, snacks, and candies. The sales associates are more than mere sales people, they assist and advise without being pushy. Here there is a “no stress” shopping environment where everything is done to help you enjoy yourself..
The collections seem timeless in their romantic and fairylike essence. Chiffon blouses, flowy pants and skirts, tailored jackets… can be found in the finest silks and wools, all made in France or Italy with the attention to detail that is so essential to a Stanislassia. The collection consists of original pieces which can compliment the basics found in any women’s wardrobe. To feel super-feminine, to be pretty and sexy while being comfortable and at ease in ones clothing is Stanislassia’s wish. The world of Stella Cadente is the opposite of restricted formal wear, but one where it is the woman who dresses up the outfit as she slips into it….
Add to all this a superb jewellery collection of pearls and feathers which personalize any look with a discrete and refined style. Lets not forget the decorative pieces, glassware and pitchers by Salviati, hand blown in Murano. Stella Cadente loyals are not hard to find; Zabou, Alexandrea Kazan, and Lio all are dressed by her… Maybe you will join the club, all you have to do is try!
