Enjoying Paris museums and monuments
•At your service In Paris, close to 180 museums and monuments are open on weekends or week days. The large majority of museums have days or hours when they are open free of charge : this is often the case on the first Sunday of each month, throughout the day (except April until end of September) or every Sunday but only between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. most Paris museums and monuments are closed on Mondays or Tuesdays and on some bank holidays. Museums-Monuments card •The culture pass The Museums-Monuments card is a veritable passport to discover more than 70 museums and monuments freely and without waiting. All you have to do is show your card at the desk of the places you wish to visit to be directed to some of the country’s most admired collections and works. •Useful tip You will be given the list of museums and monuments with the card. The Museums-Monuments card gives you the possibility of going back to the same sites several times. The more visits you make, the more you get out of your card. The card also gives you free and priority access to the permanent collections. •Let’s go… Choose the formula which suits you best : one day, three days or five consecutive days. Write your surname, first name and the date of first use on the back of your card. Keep it on you and show it whenever necessary : the number of visits allowed is unlimited ! •Where to buy the Museums-Monuments card ? At all RATP metro and train stations, at participating museums and monuments, at the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau and at FNAC stores. Prices : 15€ for 1 day; 30€ for 3 days; 45€ for 5 consecutive days.
